Job Description
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Marina at Outdoor Recreation.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Have responsible experience in the overall management of a food service operation which provided a thorough knowledge of food operations, including purchasing and receiving food stuffs and food preparation. Have experience gained in a restaurant, club, cafeteria or similar establishment to include supervision of subordinate personnel performing cooking and cash handling duties. Must have a general knowledge of management principles and practices and knowledge of financial planning principles and procedures. Knowledge of etiquette, military protocol, and an automated food tracking program are desirable. Must be able to continually stand and walk, frequent stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, and bending. Frequently lifts and moves objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lifts or moves objects weighing over 40 pounds with assistance. Possess skill in dealing with the public.
