Job Description
This position is located in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, Naval Station, Great Lakes, Illinois. Incumbent serves as the General Manager of the "Epicenter" Entertainment Complex (Bldg. 525) and is the subject matter expert for all Food and Beverage within MWR and provides collateral support as necessary to all food operations.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate possess the following: Professional knowledge gained through relevant experience which enables the employee to competently and independently carry out management oversight of various operations. Knowledge of bar and restaurant & entertainment industry. Knowledge in the range of activities and service of participant needs and interest, and of the methods involved in a typical bowling center/movie theater and restaurant operations. Skill in the application and utilization of such knowledge in planning and carrying out various programs which meets the needs of the Great lakes community. Knowledge of Morale, Welfare and Recreation policies, CNIC Program Standards, Catering Standards, Navy Motion Picture Service guidance and USBC bowling regulations is required. Skill in effectively managing financial and physical resources available.
