Job Description

This position is for a HR SPEC (MIL), PD# T5900000 , part of the Nevada National Guard. This position is located in State Air National Guard (ANG) Headquarters. To provide staff assistance, guidance, and direction concerning ANG personnel, administration, training, recruiting, retention, incentive, and budgetary matters to the Administrative Officer, the Adjutant General, the Assistant Adjutant General (Air), state ANG staff and state ANG units.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have 1-year experience that demonstrates the ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; plan and organize work; and communicate effectively orally and in writing. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 1-year specialized experience equivalent to that of a GS-11 to include providing state level coordination of all military personnel programs, including but not limited to: enlistment, appointment, performance evaluation reports, promotions, officer and enlisted selective retention, discharges, separations, recruiting, retention, incentives, and training.
