Qualifications
Specialized Experience: GS06: Applicants must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: using automated systems for tracking the status of work-related processes; entering data into one or more computer systems; obtaining needed information from files or general reference sources; providing office automation support (e.g. creating, copying, editing, storing, retrieving a variety of documents); or maintaining administrative files or records. GS07: Applicants must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: briefing new hires on entitlements; providing customer support to internal and external customers; providing office automation support (e.g. creating, copying, editing, storing, retrieving a variety of documents); using computers and software programs in an office environment to extract, revise, or sort information from files, records, or databases; or researching regulations, policies, and/or personnel guidance. Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP): The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
