Job Description
This position is in the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, Department of Technology Services, Enterprise Operations Center (EOC). The EOC's Infrastructure Operations Division (IOD) is responsible for the management and maintenance of IT services, systems, and national data, voice, and video applications and infrastructure.
Qualifications
Applicants must have demonstrated experience as listed below. This requirement is according to the AO Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment Systems which include interpretive guidance and reference to the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions. Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience in ALL the following areas: Performance management and systems administration for tools that monitor and manage network performance on both wide and local area networks. Configuring and managing NetFlow and other flow-based telemetry protocols to analyze traffic patterns, detect anomalies, and support forensic investigations across enterprise network environments. Developing and implementing automated monitoring workflows and alerting mechanisms using scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to proactively identify and remediate network performance and security issues across enterprise environments. Integrating network performance tools with application programming interfaces to enhance telemetry insights, generate custom dashboards and reports, and support cross-functional collaboration between network operations and cybersecurity teams.
