Job Description

1-year non-reimbursable assignment Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Investigative Analyst (Criminal Analyst) Series Requested: 0132,1801,1802,1805 Top Secret - SCI Detail can be extended for up to 3-years with mutual agreement on an annual basis Must live in the Scottsdale or Tucson, AZ area Only current, full-time federal employees are eligible. Qualifications

Qualifications required: Applicants must have at least two (2) years of solid working experience leveraging multiple databases/indices to develop an understanding of a suspect, target, and/or criminal entity and have a comprehensive understanding of intelligence analysis and documentation of findings. Those with experience in communications call-chaining and metadata analysis is preferred, but not mandatory. Applicants must have ability to work in fast-paced environment, apply analytical techniques and critical thinking skills, have excellent oral and written communications, and willingness to learn and navigate multiple system applications. Applicants must have ability to work independently and as part of a teams of other criminal analysts or criminal investigators to collect information, conduct analysis, and develop usable leads in support of law enforcement operations. Applicants must demonstrate use of sound analytical tradecraft in product development, versed in giving briefings and presentations, and advance and leverage inter-and intra-agency collaboration and coordination efforts.
