Job Description
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC), Position Description Number T6003100 and is part of the 224 ADG, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants.
Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, and/or training that has provided a basic knowledge of data processing functions and general management principles that enabled the applicant to understand the stages required to automate a work process. Experience may have been gained in work such as computer operator or assistant, computer sales representative, program analyst, or other positions that required the use or adaptation of computer programs and systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience developing, implementing and monitoring information security/cyber security systems, security plans, and procedures throughout EADS. Experience providing security procedures, briefings and training to EADS Staff and mission partners. Experience ensuring the integrity and security of data for all Servers/Workstations through mitigation of security vulnerabilities utilizing recommended/mandated IA Vulnerability Assessments (IAVAs) and system patches. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel

Your last Federal performance appraisal plan must reflect a rating of Fully Successful or equivalent. 3. If you are claiming ICTAP eligibility you will be required to submit supporting documentation to validate your claim of ICTAP eligibility such as a Reduction in Force (RIF) separation notice or a Proposed Removal/Separation notice and a copy of your latest Notification of Personnel Action, Standard Form 50. IF YOU ARE CLAIMING VETERANS' PREFERENCE, YOU MUST PROVIDE PROOF AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION. - Veterans Preference Documentation: (include hyperlink as in example) -If you are a Discharged, Non-Disabled Veteran, you must submit a copy of your DD-214 showing character of discharge (Member 4 copy), or other Documentation of Service and Separation under Honorable Conditions, as listed on the SF15.
