Job Description
IOWA AIR NATIONAL GUARD - TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This position is currently open to DSG, Title 5, Title 32, and AGR members of the 132d Wing of the Iowa Air National Guard. Military membership is required. LOCATION: 132d Wing, Des Moines, Iowa
Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Experience performing, managing, supervising, leading, mentoring, and/or training the following Information Technology Management and Cyberspace Program requirements: Communications Security Management, Compliance, Computer Network Defense; Configuration Management; Encryption; Enterprise Architecture; Identify Management; Information Assurance; Information Resources Strategy; Information Systems Security Certification; Information Systems and Network Security; Operating Systems; Security, and Technology Awareness. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: GS-2210-13: Must have experience in the following: Must have at least 12 months of Cyberspace program supervisory experiences. Experience in advising, coaching, mentoring, and counseling employees to ensure understanding of the Air National Guard personnel programs, policies, to include senior management procedures and directives. Experienced in conducting interviews and selecting candidates for initial hires, reassignments, promotions, or formal details. Must have experiences and competence in regard to identifying Dual Status technician positions' Series qualification and/or certification requirements, training development, and compatible military skills. Experiences involved leading, planning, and scheduling program work in a manner that promoted smooth flow and even distribution of assigned work requirements. Experiences included training and guiding employees on cyberspace programs and assigning tasks. Experience balancing mission program work requirements, aligning program policies, and providing advice, mentoring, and a wide variety of directions. Experienced on coaching and counseling employees on behaviors and/or performance issues. Experienced in structuring assignments that created effective and efficient procedures with measured and improved task processes. Experiences and/or endorsements on employee mentorship competencies that improved working relationships and improved employees' performance. Experiences that provided employees with improved training applications and completion of career development certifications and continuing education course programs. Experiences involved planning work requirements and assigning work to subordinates.
