Job Description

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce (Cyber Workforce) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Provide support in various IM areas to include web administration, system administration, exchange account administration, SharePoint administration, LAN account administration, and SCCM administration.

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education/experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. BASIC REQUIREMENT: In addition to the specialized experience listed below, your resume must indicate IT-related experience demonstrating the four competencies: 1) Attention to Detail-develop organizational policy and procedures for implementation of guidance. 2) Customer Service-resolve problems with application programs. 3) Oral Communication-serve as a member of boards/committees/panels in support of special projects. 4) Problem Solving-evaluate the impact of new technologies on current systems and policies. AND To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as assisting in the maintenance and troubleshooting on a variety of computer systems. Uses diagnostic and utility software packages to analyze and perform computer and server maintenance. Assist in the installation of various types of network server systems. OR Possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from a nationally accredited university that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combinations of successfully completed education and specialized experience described above may be used to meet the total qualification requirements at the GS-11 level. To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
