Job Description
The Pentagon Building Management Office is responsible for day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Pentagon, which has a gross floor area of 6,546,360 square feet and houses approximately 25,000 Federal employees assigned to 14 agencies of the Department of Defense, The tenants of the Pentagon include Cabinet level officers, heads of agencies and commissions and high-ranking officers of the Army, Navy. Marines and Air Force.

Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. Specialized experience can be defined as: 1. Perform routine preventive maintenance, and installation of a wide range of utility systems and other similar facility support systems. 2. Assist with determining the cause of defects and malfunctions on assigned utility systems 3. Under direct supervision, replaces piping, valves, sump pumps, and bathroom fixtures. and detects, troubleshoots, and repairs leaks. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met at the closing date of this announcement.
