Job Description

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Sagebrush Inn Temporary Lodging Facility on Mountain Home AFB, ID. This is a Full Time position with 35-40 hours per week. This position does offer benefits. Moderate to heavy lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally heavier objects with the use of a dolly and/or buddy method. Active walking, standing, bending and occasionally working in a cramped position.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Applicants must have increasingly responsible experience/knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and a general knowledge of electrical and general maintenance. Must have a working knowledge of various hand and power tools. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to work an irregular tour of duty to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be physically able to lift and cany objects weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally heavier objects with assistance. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Position is a position of trust. Must be able to complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Must possess a valid state driver's license and a clear driving record. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
