Job Description
This National Guard position is for a MANAGEMENT ANALYST, Position Description Number D2505000 and is part of the Oregon Air National Guard 142nd Wing, National Guard.
Qualifications
Areas of Consideration: Area 1 - Current permanent and indefinite T32 technicians of the Oregon ANG. Area 2 - Current permanent and indefinite T5 employees of the Oregon ANG. Area 3 - Current service members in the Oregon ANG. Area 4 - Individuals in the active duty US Air Force, Air Force Reserve, or Air National Guard. Area 5 - US Citizens eligible to meet the military requirements for membership in the Oregon ANG. GENERAL and SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Work involves developing, analyzing, evaluating, advising, or improving the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, organizations, manpower utilization, distribution of work assignments, management controls, and similar functions of management. Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management. Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience using computer and automation systems. GS-10 - 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-0343-09). Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To Qualify for This Position, You Must Have: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in duties that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. OR B. A Masters degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2.5 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. OR C. A combination of Experience as described in "A" above and Education as described in "B" above.
