Job Description
This position is located at Marketing Department Schofield Barracks, Hawaii (Island of Oahu, Hawaii.) Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Minimum Qualifications Criteria: Practical knowledge of website maintenance and 1-3 years of experience in marketing. Must possess organizational skills and be able to work quickly in a web-based environment. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment under pressure to meet project deadlines and specific tasks. Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe CS4 (Illustrator Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign) is preferred as well as specialized education obtained in course work related to marketing, interactive communications or another related field. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": High Qualifications Criteria: 3+ years of proven success in a marketing role, demonstrating tangible results in areas like website traffic growth, lead generation, or brand awareness. Sophisticated understanding of website maintenance best practices, including SEO optimization, App optimization and Meta . Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and maintain a professional demeanor. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Express, Facebook, Instagram ) is a plus.
