Materials Handler

This position is located within a National Forest. The position involves work in a wide range of warehousing activities that includes receiving, storing, and shipping a variety of supplies, equipment, and materials. Duties also include packing and repacking a variety of stock items.

Selective Placement Factors Incumbent is required to operate Government vehicles some of which MAY require the operator to possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). If a CDL is required, the incumbent is subject to random drug testing and will be placed in the drug testing pool. Selectee must submit to a urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment and random testing thereafter. Final appointment and continued employment are conditional on negative results for illegal drug use. This announcement constitutes 30 days advance notice.
