MWR Bartender

Job Description

This position is located in the Food and Beverage Division of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department in the Navy Region Southwest. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as bartender, which mixes and serves a limited variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Incumbent is assigned to Port Hueneme,Kingpin.

Qualifications

The incumbent is required to have the knowledge and skill to mix and serve beverages. service. The incumbent must have the ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and to resolve the problem or seek assistance if needed. Knowledge of cash handling skills, ability to calculate and use basic arithmetic. Be able to follow written and oral instructions. Some pre-mixed beverages, such as daiquiris, are served; however, beverages of an exotic variety are also prepared. The incumbent must have knowledge of the correct proportions and mixtures to use in preparing beverages. Must be able to present a fine sense of customer relations and
