MWR Operations Assistant - Duty Manager (Bowling Center)

Job Description

This position is located in the Bowling Center of the Morale, Welfare Department at Naval Air Station Lemoore. The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the various functions in the facility to ensure that established policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.

Qualifications

A minimum of one (1) year experience which provides knowledge of club, restaurant, business operations, or equivalent leadership experience. Experience is required in an office environment with progressive responsibilities or related education. Knowledge and understanding of applicable regulations, policies, principles, and procedures. Must have ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and to provide work direction to other employees. Must have ability to use initiative, discretion, and independent judgment in making decisions. Must be people-orientated and have an excellent sense of customer relations. Must possess a courteous, tactful and diplomatic demeanor. Skill in computer data entry is desired and must have knowledge of software applications such as but not limited to Word and Excel.

All transcripts MUST show student's name, the name of the awarding university or educational institution, degree type, awarded/conferred date, and the field of study (major). If your degree has not been awarded and/or you possess certificates of completion for DoD approved competency-based training courses, and/or a valid CDA/MSA credential(s), you MUST also provide a copy of your HS Diploma or equivalent. Altered transcripts will not be accepted. Transcripts from foreign colleges must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency in order to be considered. Applicants are responsible to obtain and submit proof of creditability of education as evaluated by a credentialing agency which is a private U.S. organization. Credential evaluations are not free and applicants are responsible for the cost of the selected service. Foreign high school transcripts or diplomas do not require credential evaluation but must be in English or a certified translation.
