Job Description

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 92 Force Support Squadron, NAF Resource Management Flight, NAF Accounting Office, Fairchild AFB, WA. This is a Regular Full time position; guaranteed 35 hours per week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for Air Force NAF benefits (such as: earning annual and sick leave, Health (to include Dental and Vision) Insurance, Life Insurance, Air Force 401k and Retirement.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must demonstrate progressive responsibility in general clerical experience involving arithmetic accuracy, and attention to detail. Must have experience in clerical or office work which demonstrates increased responsibility and knowledge of office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, Power Point, Word, Access, Excel), correspondence, formats, grammar, and spelling. Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must demonstrate critical thinking and time management skills. Must have experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody, and other processing of cash items when this includes (1) direct handling of cash items and (2) use of cash accountability control methods. Successful completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) is required.
