Job Description
This position is part of the Office of Technology Commercialization, Department of Energy. As a Partnership Intermediary Agreements (PIA) Projects Manager, you will coordinate strategic partnership efforts and administer various services and initiatives to accelerate the development and commercialization of mission-relevant technologies.
Qualifications
You must meet the Basic Education Requirement listed in the "Education Requirements" section and the "Specialized Experience" to qualify for this series as described below. GS-13 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 2 of 3of the following Directly supporting and conducting the design, implementation and execution of technology commercialization and lab-to-market funding programs for start-ups, small businesses, incubators, researchers, etc. or innovative partnership mechanisms, such as partnership intermediary agreements, Prize Authority, other transactions, etc. Supporting the development of briefing materials to Program Office leadership on funding program proposals as well as the impacts and outcomes derived from awards, performers, stakeholders, etc. Working on initiatives that involve multiple Program Office collaborations for jointly funded programs, common mission areas, or other cross-cutting initiatives GS-14 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 2 of 3 of the following Leading teams to conduct the design, implementation and execution of technology commercialization and lab-to-market funding programs for start-ups, small businesses, incubators, researchers, etc. or innovative partnership mechanisms, such as partnership intermediary agreements, Prize Authority, other transactions, etc. Briefing Program Office leadership on funding program proposals as well as the impacts and outcomes derived from awards, performers, stakeholders, etc. Identifying opportunities for and developing multiple Program Office collaborations for jointly funded programs, common mission areas, or other cross-cutting initiatives "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Limit your resume to no more than two (2) pages.
