Job Description
The Personnel Management Officer supports human capital activities for over 1,400 employees, including recruitment, awards, onboarding, and personnel management. Key duties include managing programs, tracking personnel actions, coordinating security clearances, and facilitating out-processing. This position is only open to current USPHS officers. USPHS Call to Active Duty (CAD) candidates are not eligible for this position.
Qualifications

Active listening and reading comprehension. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Integrity/Honesty. Cultural competency. Proficiency in MS Office applications and SharePoint. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time (6-8 Hours). Performing repeated bending motion. Manual dexterity for computer operation. Extended phone use. Travel required for recruitment events, training, conferences, workshops, and internal TDY assignments.
