Job Description

This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Plate Printing Division DCF. As a Plate Printer Supervisor, you will supervise through subordinate Assistant Supervisors the Plate Printing Section of craft and related semi-skilled manufacturing employees engaged in intaglio printing of US Currency.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. You must meet the screen-out element Ability to Supervise Through Subordinate Supervisors (Screen Out), normally addressed at the beginning of the online questions. To meet the screen-out element, applicants must have the ability to perform common supervisor duties. Applicants must have experience as an acting supervisor supervising Assistant Supervisors. Applicants must have experience scheduling and overseeing work operations. Applicants must have experience reporting problems related to the work supervised and ensuring the monthly currency order is met. Applicants must have experience ensuring employee safety and enforcing security processes, procedures, and regulations. In addition, you must also obtain an average score of two (2) for the following elements for this position as addressed through the online question in order to be considered minimally qualified.
