Job Description

CIA Police Officers (CIAP) protect Agency personnel, facilities, and information through the enforcement of Federal laws and Agency Regulations, including making arrests and enforcing traffic laws.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Interested candidates should be passionate about the ideals of our American republic, committed to upholding the rule of law and the U.S. Constitution, and committed to improving the efficiency of the Federal government. Hiring decisions will not be based on race, sex, color, religion, or national origin. Twenty-one (21) years of age at time of appointment No record of felony convictions or domestic violence Must possess a valid driver's license Physically and psychologically fit Successful completion of the FLETC Physical Efficiency Battery (PEB) Review required Grooming Standards Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation Desired Qualifications Prior military, police. or security experience
