POLICE OFFICER - TITLE 32

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This position is for a Police Officer, Position Description Number D2155000 located at 165th Security Forces Squadron in Garden City, GA. This is a full-time, Excepted, dual status position which requires Georgia Air National Guard Membership. Area of Consideration: Open to all Active Duty Air Force, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve members within the state of Georgia.

General Experience: Candidate must possess experience includes experience in administrative, clerical, technical, or military work that involved protecting property, equipment, data, or materials; or that involved making judgments based on the application of directions, rules, regulations, or laws. Specialized Experience: Candidate must have at least 12 months experience at the next lower level that provided knowledge of a body of basic laws and regulations, law enforcement operations, practices, and techniques and involved responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property. Creditable specialized experience may have been gained in work on a police force; through service as a military police officer; in work providing visitor protection and law enforcement in parks, forests, or other natural resource or recreational environments; in performing criminal investigative duties; or in other work that provided the required knowledge and skills. This experience must be 1 year of experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level of the position to be filled.
