Qualifications
To qualify for the Printing Plant Worker Leader (Motor Vehicle Operator), KA-5703-00, you must meet the following requirements: Applicants must have experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to independently perform the duties typically required of a Printing Plant Worker Leader (Motor Vehicle Operator). Applicants must meet the following Screen-Out element, #73: Ability to lead and supervise to be considered for this position. Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element, which appears as question 2 in the online questionnaire. If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT ELEMENT below is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration. The screen-out element for this position is: Job Element #73, Ability to lead and supervise, encompasses the following knowledge and ability: Managing workflow to ensure timely delivery of jobs. Dispatching operators to move printed material, ensuring timely pickup and delivery. Knowledge of GPO messenger processes relating to availability and time requirements of printed matter. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement to be considered.
