Job Description
This position is located in the Office of the Director, Executive Office for Immigration Review, U. S. Department of Justice. This is a Competitive Service position; additional positions may be filled from this announcement within 90 days of certificate issuance.
Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Program Analysis Officer (Senior Operations and Planning Advisor), at GS- 0343-15, you must meet the qualification requirements listed below. TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-15 level. (Please submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. If your eligibility for both merit promotion and/or time-in-grade cannot be determined, your application will be rated ineligible. Please see Required Documents for additional information). FOR THE GS-15 LEVEL: Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one or more full-time years (12-months) of specialized work experience, equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service, performing the following duties: Providing analytic and technical support for a variety of organizational initiatives and administrative programs; Leading efforts in developing, planning, implementing and improving administrative management, processes and procedures, and; Developing and implementing approaches, techniques, or methodologies to improve program operations and correct deficiencies You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including time-in-grade, by the closing date of this announcement 10/20/2025. If you do not have your most recent performance appraisal/evaluation, please submit a statement as to why it is not available. CTAP eligibility documentation: A copy of your RIF separation notice; notice of proposed removal for declining a directed geographic relocation outside of the local commuting area; a Certificate of Expected Separation ; or certification that you are in a surplus organization or occupation (this could be a position abolishment letter, or a notice of eligibility for discontinued service retirement).
