Job Description
Navy Wounded Warrior (NWW) is the Navy's sole organization for coordinating the non-medical care of seriously wounded, ill and injured Sailors, Coast Guardsmen, their family member and caregivers. Through proactive leadership, we provide a lifetime of individually tailored assistance designed to optimize the success of our Shipmates' recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration activities. This position is open to current N95 employees, Oahu Wide.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Knowledge and understanding of requirements and operations of DoD or Department of Navy (DON) Wounded Warrior initiatives, implementing congressionally and DoD mandated wounded warrior and family/caregiver requirements. Knowledge of Federal and agency regulations; knowledge of the specific organization's programs and missions, as well as knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, and policies related to program/operations area to consider their impact on programs. Knowledge of and skill in qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness and the improvement of complex management processes and systems, which have impact on Navy or NWW goals and objectives. Ability to manage several major projects concurrently, each of which require multiple tasks across many different levels of the Navy (e.g.., local commands, regions, and headquarters) and other government agencies. Ability to clearly and concisely prepare, present, discuss and defend issues, findings and recommendations. Ability to work effectively on a team. Ability to work in a stressful environment on time sensitive issues. Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and relationship with others. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Must meet Federal employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms. This is a non-critical sensitive position requiring access to IT II system and /or PII. Position requires employee to obtain/maintain eligibility for a Secret Security Clearance. An Access National Agency Check Investigation (ANACI) is required via the SF86 Security Form.
