Job Description
Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Facilities and Asset Management (OFAM), Washington D.C. This announcement will be open for 10 business days OR until the first 100 applications have been received, whichever happens first.
Qualifications
Experience: You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Overseeing a large, complex, and diverse multi-million dollar facilities and infrastructure management portfolios that resulted in timely and effective planning, delivery, operation and sustainment. Leading negotiations with high level officials/executives, government agencies, or foreign governments (for example Canadian or Mexican governments) Providing leadership and directing sub-organizations in complex engineering/construction facilities projects, architecture studies and projects, and building operations. Participating in Congressional engagements, hearings, dealings with Office of Management and Budget (OMB), White House, Congressional engagement and advocacy efforts, or other high visibility dealings. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must: Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process; and Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 10/17/2025.
