Job Description

About the position: This position is a RPT (part-time) Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) position assigned to the ITT (Information, Tickets & Tours) Center on Joint Base Langley-Eustis VA - Ft Eustis location. Position is guaranteed 20 hours per week. This position may be subject to holidays, nights, weekends and on-call work. Must have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start date.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable; however, no experience is required. Applicant must have the ability to read, write, and speak English in order to effectively communicate with customers and leadership. Must possess math skills which allow incumbent to accurately perform duties. Work requires frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, and carrying. Frequently lifts and carries items weighing over 50 pounds. Frequently exposed to possibility of cuts and serious injuries and/or falls. Works both indoors. Exposure to elements, cold and heat, humidity, rain, drafts, dirt, dust, and noise. Special care is requires to avoid serious injury. Subject to an irregular tour of duty. Position requires satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical. Must have a current driver's license. Position requires satisfactory completion of a National Agency Check w/lnquiries and Food Handler's Certification. ''This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing/or drug use. "
