RECREATION SPECIALIST (YOUTH SPORTS COORDINATOR) NF-3

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Must have one year experience that demonstrates knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methods of youth sports program operations. Must have a minimum of two years experience in a variety of clerical duties such as typing, filing, record keeping, etc. Must be proficient in Microsoft 365: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook (email), Windows, Teams, Microsoft OneDrive, and navigating the web. Experience with sports league website application development and experience with online registration platforms, preferred. Must have excellent oral and written communications skills. Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to successfully plan, organize and execute a youth sports league and special events. Applicants must have the ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, both inside and outside the organization. Must be able to work with little supervision. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance. Must possess a valid U.S. drivers license. Must be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquiries and State Criminal History Repository Check (CNACI) background checks which are required for positions that involve working with children under 18 years of age.
