Job Description
Serves as Assistant General Manager (AGM) within the Air Traffic Organization (ATO); Air Traffic Services; Eastern Service Area, and District Office, responsible for planning and directing multiple activities and programs in a complex matrix organization in a specific Air Traffic District assigned to the highest facility-level within that District.
Qualifications
Candidates must show specialized experience. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters positions for at least 1 year (52 weeks); or 2) Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) at an ATS facility; (Note: an employee who has been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility that is upgraded is considered to meet the qualification requirements of the upgraded position, since he or she has been performing the higher-graded work; or 3) Must have held a MSS position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility. In addition to the qualifications above, you must have held an MSS-3 or above position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement. Candidates will be evaluated on four "Managerial Selection Factors". Managerial Selection Factors: Candidates must provide separate narrative responses to address his/her experience in MWP Selection Factors 1 through 4.
