SUPERVISORY FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (TITLE 32)

This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. This position is a Permanent GS-1640-11 SUPERVISORY FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2228000 and is part of the MO 139th Airlift Wing. This is a non-bargaining unit position. This position is also advertised on AGR announcement #AF25-084.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade - MSgt (E-7) Minimum Military Grade - SSgt (E-5) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience, education, or training that provided knowledge of equipment maintenance work, or skill in reading engineering drawings and specifications, using test instruments, making computations, record keeping, and experience using computer and automation systems GS-11 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least one year of specialized experience, education or training equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or equivalent that demonstrates the experience applying principles, concepts, and methods of facility operations; experience carrying out Facilities Management Programs; knowledge of maintenance concepts, principles, and practices concerned with planning, design, and maintenance of facilities; and experience preparing budgets based on plans for maintenance, repair work, new construction alteration projects, replacement of existing equipment, or increase in services and processes to ensure program effectiveness. This specialized experience must also include experience in managing the function of work to be performed and experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
