Job Description

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Developing and implementing software systems including architecture and data security capabilities at scale, modernization of legacy systems, migration to cloud-native architectures, and integration of system-wide analytics; and - Proposing innovative solutions to enhance applications, infrastructure, and drive customer requirements; and - Making recommendations involving the adoption of new technologies to enhance operational efficiency; and - Providing authoritative advice to senior-level management in areas of technology assessments, policies, and initiatives; and - Providing technical and administrative supervision to staff. Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
