Job Description
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a Traffic Management Specialist (Title 5) (Indefinite), Position Description Number T5261000 and is part of the VA G4, National Guard.
Qualifications

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience planning and preparation of unit movement plans and management of military convoy operations. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-10 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government? This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as: Experience participating in the direction and coordination of traffic management functions. Experience directing, overseeing and providing technical guidance for preparation, maintenance and execution of movement plans for mobilization and deployment. Experience interpreting regulations/requirements and developing local policies to implement changes effectively. Experience planning and scheduling work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow and even distribution.
