TRAINING PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Job Description

This position is being filled under AcqDemo Direct Hire Authorities This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. The incumbent will develop, design, and manage communication methods that effectively convey strategic information supporting organizational changes pertaining to the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) program.

Qualifications

You may qualify at the NH-03, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level in the Federal service: Design training programs to develop customized training and materials based on identified needs. Deliver training sessions through facilitated in-person and virtual training sessions for employees at all levels while using using interactive methods such as role-playing, group discussions, and case studies to enhance learning. Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and feedback and analyzing the outcomes of this feedback to identify areas for improvement. Assess training needs through collaboration with managers and stakeholders to understand skill gaps and performance challenges. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
