Job Description

Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Possess a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree, i.e., Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), obtained at a school or college of veterinary medicine accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (AVMA). Possess a valid unrestricted state license to practice veterinary medicine (may be a valid state license from any US state). Official transcripts must be provided prior to time of hire. Unofficial college/university transcripts may be uploaded for initial qualification screening In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess active United States Department of Agriculture/ Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA/APHIS) accreditation. Physical Requirement: Ability to lift 45 lbs and long periods of standing, walking, restraining, kneeling, reaching and sitting, etc. Must have use of fingers; Both hand and both legs are required; Position requires exposure to intermittent excessive noise.
