Job Description

This position is located at West Point Club. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Area of Consideration This job is open to US Citizens and Non-Citizens residing within a 75-mile radius of West Point, NY. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: No prior training or work experience required. Must meet the state/local age (18 yrs) requirement for the serving of alcoholic beverages. Applicants must be able to follow simple oral and/or written instructions. Skills and Knowledge: Ability to follow simple oral and written instruction and an understanding of sanitary food and beverage handling techniques and an understanding of food preparation methods of food items. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: knowledge, skills, abilities, additional screening criteria and other characteristics. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Previous work experience as waitstaff in a restaurant and/or for catered events. The experience must be reflected on your resume at the time of application to be considered a highly preferred candidate. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants will be referred for consideration if the certificate (referral list) is returned with no selection.
