This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major duties

You will provide surveillance of Contractor design, development, and production engineering efforts. You will evaluate, monitor, and report on Contractor engineering efforts in accordance with contract terms. You will review on a continuous basis Contractor's test plans and directives for compliance with contract terms. You will maintain surveillance of the preparation, review and evaluate working plans, vendor plans, and other technical data presented by the contractor. You will review and evaluate requests for departure from specifications including engineering equivalencies.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading the technical design, shipboard installation, system integration, and testing of marine electronic, communication, navigation, or tactical systems aboard marine vessels by independently applying and interpreting electrical plant installation standards, standard marine engineering maintenance methodologies, and military or commercial specifications to review technical designs and resolve complex installation anomalies in order to ensure compliance with rigorous regulatory requirements, guarantee complete system interoperability, and secure operational readiness certification for deploying vessels.
