What you'd do

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST within FLDSUPPACT.

Major duties

You will perform or advise on work in many of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will perform work including analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of an organization's program and administrative operations. You will apply comprehensive, detailed knowledge and understanding of budgetary policies, precedents, procedures, and regulations to resolve issues. You will identify, analyze, and resolve a range of budgetary problems such as the development of alternative methods of funding.

What you need to qualify

GS-13 LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as a senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management, policy and procedures within an organization; 2) Directing continuing program execution reviews, analysis, and appraisals of major operating and support programs; 3) Preparing briefs for senior managers on program execution and providing recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas; and 4) Executing modifications to systems, programs, and/or operations and establishing criteria to investigate, analyze, and resolve a range of budgetary problems. GS-12 LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as a liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management, policy and procedures within an organization; 2) Assisting with continuing program execution reviews, analysis, and appraisals of major operating and support programs; 3) Researching, interpreting, analyzing and evaluating current laws, regulations and policies governing detailed budgetary policies, procedures, and practices; and 4) Executing modifications of systems, programs, and/or operations with guidance.
