What you'd do

Major duties
You will carry-out the full range of supervisory management functions. You will provide advice and counsel to the DON leadership regarding acquisition management issues for the modernization and sustainment of IT training systems. You will develop, plan, and execute the DON's mission and strategic vision to drive continued transformation and maturation of Navy IT training systems and solutions. You will directly engage with Navy senior stakeholders (flag/SES) necessary for delivering training content, systems, and services. You will provide advice and counsel to the DON leadership regarding acquisition management issues for the modernization and sustainment of IT training systems.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Oversee and manage human, financial, and information resources that produce high-quality results by applying technical knowledge, analyzing problems, calculating risks and building coalitions. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
