What you'd do

You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR in the Production Resources Department (C/900) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Major duties

You will prepare and conduct formal and information training in nuclear and non-nuclear quality control , steam plant cleanliness, radiological safety and work practices, submarine safety and various other work-related subjects. You will research NAVSEA and local instructions to source appropriate work/training requirements. You will schedule and coordinate sessions designed to provide, update, improve, and upgrade the knowledge and skills of shipyard personnel.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing employee development programs aimed at naval vessel repairs by applying established training principles to develop, evaluate, and modify instructional materials and classroom instruction, optimizing the effectiveness of training projects and ensuring adherence to the latest standards.
