What you'd do

You will serve as a KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of COMNAVSURFMINEWARDEVCEN.

Major duties

You will establish priorities for information requirements and dissemination. You will facilitate the command's knowledge and information flow processes (internal, external, vertical and horizontal) to support the commander's decision cycle. You will provide recommended courses of action to decision makers, to execute operations, to monitor the execution, and to assess the results of those operations. You will direct actions and process implementations across all divisions/directorates. You will monitor and assist in the maintenance of technological platforms and organizational structures that enhance information and knowledge sharing. You will implement procedures, training and documentation for software applications as the relate to business processes. You will develop and write reports and queries for extracting and formatting data for staff review. You will develop and publish internal divisional/directorate processes and manage the cross-functional team to ensure data in systems is accurate, consistent, and current.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector identifying, developing, aligning and synchronizing processes, business rules, and organizational capital for mission-critical information exchanges for an organization.
