What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DIVISION, INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Major duties

You will establish internal division policies and operating procedures and determine priorities. You will lead the development of program requirements for all Air Systems Group workload. You will develop plans and obtain funds for acquisition of facilities, test equipment, and software needed to more effectively conduct the Air Systems Integration Division work and to effect economies of operation. You will be responsible for the staffing of all positions within the Air Systems Integration Division. You will actively identify and pursue risk mitigation actions and secure organizational support as required.

What you need to qualify

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Demonstrating knowledge of aviation systems acquisition; 2) Utilizing systems engineering processes and procedures; 3) Managing and leading technical personnel; and 4) Identifying development and training needs of employees and providing for such development and training.
