Supervisory Program Analyst (NxGen) (Electronic Case Management Supervisor)
What you'd do
This position is located in the Division of Operations Management, Office of the General Counsel, National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). The purpose of this position is to serve as the first line supervisor and as a technical specialist for the Agency's electronic case management system.
Major duties
As a Supervisory Program Analyst (NxGen) (Electronic Case Management Supervisor), GS-0343-12, your typical work assignments may include: Maintaining working knowledge of case processing software; reviewing off-the-shelf software alternatives; providing input during system development. Participating in the development and deployment of system updates; coordinating installation of case processing and field applications; preparing draft test reports and recommending corrective actions. Conducting demonstrations and presentations, and hosting field training sessions. Assisting in coordinating team assignments and reviewing work products for technical accuracy, referring administrative or personnel matters to the supervisor. Supporting the preparation and/or review of documents, written instructions, and materials for system users.

IDEAL CANDIDATE STATEMENT The ideal candidate for the Supervisory Program Analyst (NxGen) (Electronic Case Management Supervisor) position communicates clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing to coworkers, users, and management. The ideal candidate supports NxGen reporting efforts and helps develop data-driven recommendations for management. They deliver training on case-management policies, procedures, and techniques, and may serve as an NxGen trainer to build user capability and promote consistent system use. This candidate is skilled in analyzing NxGen data, interpreting requirements in line with Agency policies, and identifying insights that help improve operations and decision-making. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level, which has provided them with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of a Supervisory Program Analyst (NxGen) (Electronic Case Management Supervisor) at the GS-12 grade level. Specialized experience includes: Experience preparing oral and written presentations for coworkers and users, and consulting with management on NxGen reporting and recommendations; and Experience providing training to staff on case flow policies, procedures, and techniques, including supporting or serving as an NxGen trainer; and Experience performing data analysis using NxGen, including compiling and interpreting data requirements consistent with Agency policies and procedures. TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS All current and former Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year of experience at the GS-11 or equivalent grade level of the federal service, is required to qualify for this position. (NOTE: All Agency employees must provide a copy of their SF-50 "Notice of Personnel Action" that indicates proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. The SF-50 must include your position, title, series, grade, step, tenure code (1 or 2), and type of service (Competitive). As an employee, you may determine your current status by checking block 24 on your SF-50. Block 24 must reflect "1" or "2". Also, block 34 must reflect "1". NOTE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
