What you'd do

Major duties

You will provide classification and compensation advice and guidance on multiple personnel systems, General Schedule (GS), Broad/Pay Band, and Federal Wage System (FWS). You will provide strategic staffing advice and guidance to all levels of management. You will provide advisory services to all levels of management on employee and labor relations. You will develop and promote strategic training programs and services to the workforce. You will conduct analyses on HR services for continuous improvement and streamline of services.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band (DA-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the ability to: 1) Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) Plan and organize work; and 3) Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
