Major duties

You will support accounting, budget and funds management functions in an assigned area of responsibility. You will learn processing financial transactions and validating financial records in support of establishing and closing accounts, paying vendors, settling travel claims, establishing obligations, and reconciling accounts. You will compile and research basic data related to current accounts and historical records and make corrections to erroneous information as necessary. You will respond to basic and routine questions from customers in the assigned area and advise senior personnel of more complicated and complex issues.

What you need to qualify

In order to qualify for this position, your application must provide sufficient documentation showing you possess the required educational level needed to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. NT-01 Level: you must be currently enrolled in a high school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED) program, or post-high school educational program. NT-02 Level: you must have successfully completed 4 academic years of post-high school leading to a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree.
