SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Major duties
You will have knowledge of micro purchasing and manpower management programs sufficient to serve as a subject matter expert and develop and maintain NAVSUP WSS policies and procedures for all financial services. You will have knowledge of laws and regulations regarding micro purchasing and manpower management to serve as a technical authority for civilian and military personnel on policy and funding related issues. You will have knowledge of micro purchasing processes, procedures, and exclusions to ensure NAVSUP WSS adheres to the policies and practices of the government purchase card regulations. You will directly supervise all personnel assigned to the Purchase Card and Position Management Branch.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector supervising a team responsible for manpower, position management, or command staffing functions, including planning work, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, providing guidance, and handling personnel actions (e.g., hiring, training, disciplinary actions, awards). Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing expert advice, recommendations, and information on manpower management, position management, and command staffing to various levels of leadership within an organization; 2) Demonstrating knowledge and experience with HR policies, regulations, and systems relevant to manpower and position; 3) Analyzing and evaluating manpower data, identifying issues, and developing solutions to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness in staffing and resource allocation; and 4) Preparing and delivering briefings, reports, and recommendations to senior civilian and Military leadership on complex manpower and position management issues.
