Maintenance Worker
What you'd do
You will serve as a Maintenance Worker in the Maintenance Division. This is a temporary position expected to last 1 Year but may be extended up to maximum of two years based on agency needs and potential funding. This position is being filled under the Field Unit Local Hiring Authority (FUL). See below under Additional Information for further eligibility guidance.

What you need to qualify
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability as stated below: SCREEN OUTS: Minimum Qualifications: I have the ability to independently, and with minimal supervisory review, perform the most difficult and complex landscaping and grounds maintenance such as cutting grass with push/riding mowers, weed eaters, and pruners; basic carpentry, simple electrical installations or repairs, basic plumbing work, and painting interior and exterior surfaces; and janitorial services, including cleaning sinks, toilets, sweeping and mopping floors, and insuring that there are adequate supplies of soap, towels, and toilet paper for a public restroom. If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration.
