What you'd do

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST on the Adversary Fleet Support Team supporting the F-16 weapon system for the Fleet Support Team (FST) Logistics Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Major duties

You will be an expert for logistics support related to the assigned aircraft or engine and acts as a representative for NAVAIR for matters relating to acquisition, sustainment, and performance-based logistics. You will be an independent decision making in areas of program logistics support to ensure fleet aircraft/engine safety and readiness goals are fully supported. You will responsible for all acquisition and in-service support requirements affecting aircraft/engine acquisition and operations. You will coordinate program support issues between the APML, IPT Leader and FST lead as required. You will assessment program documentation, system designs, and aircraft/engine system interfaces for logistical consideration.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing program sustainment and acquisition integrated logistics support; 2) Effectively managing technical and professional services required to sustain a weapon system; 3) Evaluating new approaches, guides and standards to make logistical decisions.
