What you'd do

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Financial Management and Comptroller (OASN (FM&C)) of ASN.

Major duties

You will be responsible for a portfolio of weapons operating and support costs, which may include a mix of ships, submarines, aircraft, weapons, and personnel. You will be responsible for oversight and direction of contractor resources in carrying out the duties of the functional lead for an assigned portfolio. You will direct and oversee contractor resources performing functional lead support duties for your assigned portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely performance, quantity, and quality of work by these professionals, and for reviewing, accepting, amending, or rejecting their work. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful collection, processing, and publication of DON historical operating and support costs for all major weapon systems.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supporting fleet operations or maintenance management programs, Performing analyses on technical and non-technical data to present results to upper management and senior staff. Utilizing automated tools and systems to collect, review, and analyze cost data. Utilizing principles and practices of cost analysis to develop cost estimates and evaluate techniques used in generating cost estimates for different programs.
