What you'd do
This position is located at Defense Finance & Accounting Service (DFAS)- Texarkana, Texas. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
Major duties
Performs all budgetary processes and administrative duties in support of an office mission. Analyzes and reconciles the availability and proprietary use of funds on various financial documents. Reviews financial data and prepares travel orders, certifying purpose and funding for final approval. Serves as liaison in effecting and carrying out certain actions that may involve matters of funding, personnel, billing, travel, etc. Keeps office personnel informed of changes in policies, regulations, and procedures, and takes action to implement same.
What you need to qualify

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Demonstrated work experience that included practical knowledge of operating budgets and fund control principles, practices and applicable regulatory procedures. Work experience must have equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay grade level. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": At least one (1) years' experience using Adobe, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. At least one (1) years' experience writing automation scripts. ***Experience must be clearly reflected on your resume****
