ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
What you'd do
You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the MP&A DIRECTORATE of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.
Major duties
You will formulate base-wide policy on administrative issues within the cognizance of the branch and promulgates this policy to subordinate commands. You will review documents prepared for Commanding Officer’s signature such as base orders and bulletins. You will maintain Marine Corps Base (MCB) Hawaii Orders, detailing administrative policies and procedures. You will conduct detailed reviews, inspections, and coordination of administrative policies and procedures throughout MCB Hawaii tenant commands in areas to include Forms, Records Management, Fitness Reports, Award Processing, and Reports Management. You will coordinate training and events such as the Casualty Assistance Call Officer courses and the annual Manpower Management Officer/Enlisted Assignment Branch Road Shows. You will oversee requests for Funeral Honors Details conducted by subordinate and tenant commands.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Directing administrative operations and personnel functions to support organizational missions. Analyzing regulatory changes to evaluate operational impacts, designing modernized work methods and organizational structures, and supervising staff to ensure program efficiency.
